Nor-Wes, Inc began making aerial applications in the 1950’s using Stearman Biplanes. Over the years as technology improved and more advanced aircraft were designed, we took advantage by continually using the latest and best aircraft and technology available. This holds true today as we provide our customers with the highest quality applications by having the best trained Aerial Applicators in the business, utilizing the latest in innovative technology, and all the while maintaining the outstanding service and communication that our customers deserve.

Why Aerial Application?

Aerial Application is proven to be the most efficient form of applying crop protection and plant health products. According to data provided to the National Agricultural Aviation Association, “Aerial application provides four times the productivity of ground rigs for conventual broadcast applications and 30 times the productivity of airblast sprayers for orchard applications.’ Aerial application reduces ground compaction, is proven to increase the efficiency of pesticide applications, and we can operate even when ground rigs are unable to. Whether it be with an airplane or helicopter, Nor-Wes, Inc is there when you need it to get done.

Utilizing Technology

At Nor-Wes, Inc, we are constantly working with allied industries utilizing the latest technology to improve and build a better product. We utilize the latest in GNSS technology on all of our aircraft and rotorcraft. That combined with digital hopper gauges, laser altimeters, and lightbar technology allows us to maintain a high level of efficiency and timeliness. We utilize field shape files to ensure 100% accuracy of applications and maintain a record of applied data that can be accessed at any time. All of our aircraft and rotorcraft are pattern tested annually to ensure the best and most uniform spray pattern. There is nothing we will not do to ensure the highest quality application, provide outstanding service and excellent communication.
